WARREN — Police officers are investigating an attempted break-in early Monday at a coin-operated laundry on South Street SE.
A person called Trumbull County 911 about 4:15 a.m. and said the suspect ran north on Elm Road. Officers in their search encountered four juveniles behind a tire shop off High Street NE who told officers they didn’t do anything wrong.
Officers found the front window at the Washing Well laundry, 500 South St. SE cracked but not completely broken. They also found a broken brick on the ground in front of the business. An employee at a neighboring business said she saw someone with a black hoodie with white lettering break the window and then run north on Elm Road. The worker said the suspect looked like a juvenile between 10 and 15 years old.
