Tide Loads of Hope is activating free “pop-up” laundromat services in Alexandria and Pineville for those affected by Hurricane Laura. The services began Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020 and continue through Friday.
Procter & Gamble is providing free Tide detergence and the Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce is providing volunteers.
Laundromats participating are: Top Spin located at 801 Bolton Ave. in Alexandria. Top Spin opens at 8:30 a.m.; Maytag Laundromat located at 721 MacArthur Drive in Alexandria. Maytag opens at 7 a.m.; and Washland located at 2651 Hwy. 28 East in Pineville behind Sal's Service Station. Washland opens at 7 a.m.
