Several containers of laundry detergent stolen on Main Street - Roswell Daily Record

Police responded Feb. 5 at 11:22 a.m. to a shoplifting in the 2700 block of North Main Street. Three containers of Tide 150 oz Hygienic Clean liquid laundry detergent valued at $53.85; four containers of Tide Pods with a combined value of $86; four 138 oz containers of Tide valued at $73.80 and an 18-gallon tote valued at $5.50 were reported stolen.

Arrests/arrest

Joseph Muniz on Feb. 6 at 2:32 a.m. was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs in the 2500 block of West Second Street.

Timothy Montoya on Feb. 7 at 2:19 a.m. was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs in the 1100 block of South Union Avenue.

Zachary Bragg on Feb. 8 at 5:12 p.m. was charged with resisting, evading or obstructing an officer in the 1200 block of North Main Street.

Christopher Joseph Montoya on Feb. 9 at 7:49 p.m. was charged with resisting, evading or obstructing an officer in the 400 block of East Van Buren Street.

Justino Martinez on Feb. 11 at 4:30 p.m. was charged with controlled substances; possession prohibited in the 1300 block of South Atkinson Avenue.

Criminal damage

Police responded Feb. 6 at 10:25 p.m. to a shooting at a dwelling, occupied building or from a motor vehicle in the 500 block of West Reed Street.

An officer responded Feb. 6 at 11:11 p.m. to a criminal damage and shots fired call in the 1100 block of East Bland Street. A TV valued at $800 was reported damaged. A single occupancy dwelling was also reported to have sustained $3,500 in damage.

Police were dispatched Feb. 7 at 10:04 p.m. to the 700 block of East Third Street in reference to a call of shots fired. A window valued at $500 was reported damaged.

An officer responded Feb. 8 at 7:47 p.m. to a criminal damage call in the 300 block of East Country Club Road. Three windows with a combined value of $200 were reported damaged.

Police were dispatched Feb. 11 at 10:09 a.m. in the 1700 block of North Lea Avenue in reference to criminal damage. Sheet metal fencing valued at $1,400 was reported damaged.

Larceny/theft

An officer on Feb. 5 at 9:20 p.m. was dispatched to the zero block of North Sky Loop in reference to a burglary. A floor safe valued at $200; cash in the amount of $20,000; a gold coin valued at $6; $1,000 in United States currency sheets; a men’s wedding ring valued at $1,000; an engagement and wedding band set valued at $1,000; a Segway scooter valued at $100; a men’s watch valued at $50 and a gold bar valued at $50 were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched Feb. 7 at 3:56 p.m. to the 1700 block of North Ohio Avenue in reference to a larceny from buildings. A Razor electric scooter valued at $130 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched Feb. 10 at 12:10 a.m. to the 1600 block of North Union Avenue in reference to a burglary. A 1999 Nissan along with a Sony flatscreen TV valued at $500 and a Sony DVD player valued at $100 were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched on Feb. 10 at 7:06 a.m. to the 2300 block of North Main Street in reference to the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. A blue 2015 Jeep Renegade was reported stolen.

An officer responded Feb. 10 at 9:36 a.m. to a larceny in the 300 block of North Richardson Avenue. A speaker valued at $50 and an assortment of tools with a combined value of $1,000 were reported stolen.
