Criminal damage: Pearl Road
Police went to a residential complex at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 23 after someone found a coin slot to a washer and dryer broken. The CSC Service employee also discovered all the change missing.
The unknown suspect stole the slot that contained the money. The equipment damage, which amounted to about $600, however, far exceeded the $10 the thief grabbed. The company’s insurance company will be contacted.
Theft: Sprague Road
A police officer went to a construction area at 7:29 a.m. Nov. 9 regarding missing tools from a work trailer. The site foreman said someone broke into two trailers by smashing the locks. A $3,500 underground locater wand and a $200 powered paint sprayer were stolen.
Criminal damage: Lucerne Drive
A resident contacted police at 9:04 a.m. Oct. 20 about vandalism to her car. The victim said she had parked her car on the street and locked it at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 19. She returned to her car at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 20 and found that someone had shattered the driver’s side front passenger window. No items were stolen from the car.
Theft: West Whitedove Lane
A resident went to the police station Oct. 19 to report that someone had stolen a moving box from his truck bed overnight. The box contained personal papers and various brown belts. He said he had packed his truck the night before. When he awoke the next day to move it, he found the cover folded and the box missing.
