There's no denying that especially since the coronavirus pandemic has started, that gender roles have been a big topic of conversation. Especially whenever it comes to house chores. Ahem, laundry. But at this point in the game, what else are we supposed to do besides laugh at everything, right? Well, that's exactly what a popular page is doing right now on Facebook through a hilariously relatable meme and the comments are mom gold.
Working Mother shared that the Facebook page, Man Who Has It All shared a photo late last week that features a woman smiling outside with a quote below it that comes from someone named Trish, who is titled as a Family Woman and CEO.
It says alongside the caption, “I actually don’t mind helping my husband with the laundry, as long as he tells me when it needs doing and exactly how to do it.”
Spot on, right?
While dads would be completed celebrated for saying something like this and receive all the praise in the world, working moms and stay at home moms are expected to just do it all. And of course, we all know that too often dads need prompts in order to know when to jump in and help out instead of just instinctively knowing that something needs to be done.
So we all get that the meme is funny, but what takes things to a whole new level are the comments that moms are leaving. They are drying your tears kinda funny. In fact, this meme has gone viral and at this point has received over 16,000 likes, 813 comments and 1,600 shares.

He still complains! Apparently it ‘wouldn’t kill’ me to hang up the wet things I take out and, if that’s not enough nagging, ‘it would be helpful’ if I added anything from the dirty washing basket to the things I put in for washing because ‘the rest of the family also have things that need washing’ and ‘it makes no sense’ to put on a full wash for the six things I want done. Honestly. No wonder so many women don’t even try. We just get criticized."
