Cleaning experts suggest resisting the urge to throw your clothes in the washing machine because it breaks down your clothing. instead, they say hang the smelly clothing up in the bathroom while you take a shower. The steam from the shower will loosen the fibers in the clothing allowing the odors to escape. You can also make a homemade fabric freshener. All you need is vinegar and a few drops of essential oil. Mix them together and spray a little all over your clothing to achieve a more pleasant scent.
