Clothing stolen from laundry room on Noyes - Evanston Now

Somebody stole clothes from a laundry room in the 2300 block of Noyes Court. This was among stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

THEFT

2300 Noyes

Items of clothing were removed from a laundry room in the 2300 block of Noyes Court between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday.

2100 Central

Merchandise was taken from a specialty store in the 2100 block of Central Street around 2:50 p.m. yesterday.

100 Custer

A package containing portable electronic communications that was delivered to a home in the 100 block of Custer Avenue was reported stolen around 10:40 a.m. on Oct.14.

BURGLARY

1100 Judson

A burglar accessed an unlocked 2015 Toyota in the 1100 block of Judson Avenue between 6 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

1900 Dempster

A vehicle was scratched in the 1900 block of Dempster Street between 2:50 p.m. and 3:20 p.m. yesterday.

200 Ridge

Someone broke a window at a home in the 200 block of Ridge Avenue around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday.

1454 Elmwood

Earnest L. Richardson, 49, of 2009 Grey Ave., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 1 p.m. on Nov. 5 and charged with knowingly damaging property.

OTHER

1709 Benson

Shelton L. Bell, 46, of 1411 Greenleaf St., was arrested at 1709 Benson Ave. at 2:21 p.m. Monday and charged with violation in connection with possession of a firearm owner’s identification card.

1810 Dodge

Frederick Bernard Davis, 62, of 1810 Dodge Ave., was arrested at that address at 2:27 p.m. Tuesday and charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm towards persons.

1454 Elmwood

Adedoyin Ademayowa Ogunsanya, 31, of 3412 W. Montrose Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 11:56 a.m. yesterday and charged with obstructing identification.

71 Van Buren

James Celestin, 29, of 8624 S. Ingleside Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 71 W. Van Buren St., Chicago, at 11:43 a.m. Tuesday and charged with first-degree murder-intended.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
